Medical students are also very much in focus in the Mid North Coast, the Division has always supported strong links with the UNSW Rural Clinical School since its inception in 2000.  While this is no longer needed, the support and involvement of many of our GP’s in their training, allow the Division to look at different models of care for patients and involve students in these models while training.

The future of health care relies on vertical and horizontal links in Health and Education and the Division proudly supports any measures that build the workforce capacity .
